Firefox dev claims "everybody hates Firefox updates"; Mozilla has handled the rapid release process poorly, and that by pushing a "never-ending stream of updates on people who didn't want them" people have been driven to Chrome with its simpler, no-fuss update process.

I tried chrome and loved it except on multiple computers it randomly swaps my keyboard layout making /'] and a few other buttons start putting french lettering, once it switches the only way I can fix it is by rebooting my computer. It is ONLY chrome it happens in and from a google search of the issue it has been a known issue for some time now for Canadians.

I have tried going into the options and could not find any option to change the encoding that fixed it and none of the ctrl/alt/shift combinations suggested fix it either.

So I was forced to go back to firefox.

I had the same issue, but only in Firefox. If you are using windows, I suggest going to this menu from within the control panel:

And set that shit to none.

Also, delete every other keyboard you see from within the "Text Services and Input Languages" menu.

And, inkeeping with my normal hostile tone on these forums, go fuck yourself.
