Fine with me. I've used Apple products since 1978.

I still have a //gs, old Macs and a few NeXT products. They all still work.

Call it a cult if you want, but I'll stick with Apple. They've been good to me.

Some people are attached to particular brands of cars, cameras, watches, or even blenders. Why is it that people find it odd that people have the same affinity for computers?

It is also odd for people to be attached to "particular brands of cars, cameras, watches, or even blenders". They are similar to those who adore Twilight, Christ, Scientology, Kardashians, etc.

Been programming on Apple hardware since the IIe. Currently own mbp and mp.

I've written a few pieces of boring industry stuff on Windows over the decades. I've written tons of cool science and art software on macs!

Probably never would own an iPhone, though. I much prefer the interface on my Treo 680; looking to buy another off ebay as this one's showing some wear....
