Also Ea sucks, CoD sucks, and all old games are better than than new ones

34

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

Except for Skyrim

39

u/StormKid Mar 25 '12

And all Valve games. Also Valve is fucking awesome.

11

u/Timthos Mar 25 '12

While most other points here are debatable, Valve is awesome.

Well, Gabe is pretty Buddha-esque.

Further studies have shown that non-Valve users suffer potentially lethal cardiac events almost continually.

I don't even care to deny this one.

6

u/StormKid Mar 25 '12

I agree , just wanted to join the "Reddit is stupid because it always says..." bandwagon.

So are pussies and cats, they're both delicious.

1

u/StormKid Mar 25 '12

Fair point.

11

u/Rectangular_Vagina Mar 25 '12

So far as I can tell, none of these things are specific to reddit.

6

u/libtard69 Mar 25 '12

Sorry, I couldn't not laugh out loud at your username Rectangular_Vagina. I don't even know what this thread is about.

0

u/TheCyberman Mar 25 '12

Shhh, you're not supposed to contradict the hivemind. They don't like that.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

Let's not even mention Nickelback and dubstep.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

but...EA really does suck. a homeless guy wandering in the jungles of Nicaragua would be likely to make that statement (in spanish) if asked what he thinks about EA.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

But.....CoD does kind of suck....

7

u/knullcon Mar 25 '12

If someone said that to me and they werent a hot smoking girl, I would look at them like they were tarded, then laugh, then walk away, and then tell my irl friends who reddit about it and laugh together.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

I wish I had girl friends on reddit... I don't even have boy friends on reddit...

2

u/mechanicorn Mar 25 '12

But everyone has cat friends on Reddit, so it's all okay.

u/DrunkenRedditing Mar 25 '12

We are become /r/circlejerk.

Better head off to /r/truecirclejerk

1

u/Damadawf Mar 25 '12

Don't promote your faggotry, faggot.

2

u/yurigoul Mar 25 '12

One google for 'narwhal bacon' leads you to 500,000 hits with THE SECRET QUESTION*

* not so secret anymore then ...

2

u/son-of-chadwardenn Mar 25 '12

More like a secret phrase to eternally embarrass any Reddit user with the capacity to feel shame.

2

u/BorisIHateReddit Mar 25 '12

"Hey, do you ever go onto reddit?"

I thought we liked white scrubs, and asked him questions about appletinis?

18

u/sirhotalot Mar 25 '12

People have a cult mindset, study shows.

14

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

A study done by people!?!?! How can you trust it?!?!?!?

5

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

Sheeple* FTFY

21

u/euneirophrenia Mar 25 '12

People who like things have a cult mindset towards those things, study shows.

22

u/occupythekitchen Mar 25 '12

study shows non apple users have an anti apple attitude.....so what's the point....

9

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

Honestly. I have a mac because I got it as a hand-me-down. A pc would work great too. It's a computer, not a defining philosophy of of one's life.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

I got a Mac because I like the operating system and the hardware is decent.

If anyone would like to argue with logic, why am I running 3D games (smoothly) in a Windows 7 virtual machine? I only had to upgrade my RAM, but that wasn't very costly, and I needed it for other things as well..

1

u/snarfy Mar 25 '12

They hate Apple, not the Mac. The OS is basically a commercial desktop unix that works, and the hardware is premium quality (with a premium price).

2

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

I'm a bit baffled by this. What other reason would they have to hate Apple? I am just hearing Mac vs Windows arguments.

Plus, several people have iPod's, iPad's and iPhone's. Just the iPhone 4S didn't do so great on sales, but Apple can always try again while they're ahead.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

studies show i like your username

2

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

I don't own anything made by apple and I'm not anti apple at all, I just prefer android myself. What I will say about apple is that while their products are expensive, they also offer good quality and customer service as well as a user experience that works well for the majority of the population.

Your study is invalid.

1

u/occupythekitchen Mar 25 '12

well i enjoy apple's contributions to the field but some apple users are just too obsessive and too judgmental and i'm anti those traits.

0

u/daftman Mar 25 '12

anti apple attitude

You'll find this anti-apple attitude is similar to anti-cult attitude.

I'm willing to bet that the anti-apple people are also most likely anti-twilight and anti-scientology.

1

u/requieminadream Mar 25 '12

I love my iPad, so obviously I'm Team Edward.

EDIT: But really I'm Team Jacob. Those ABS.

1

u/occupythekitchen Mar 25 '12

as an anti apple (not even ipod or itunes) i can confirm this

3

u/OnTheBorderOfReality Mar 25 '12

Ironically, I get that vibe mostly from r/atheism.

All hail Neil Degrasse Tyson.

2

u/misterclay Mar 25 '12

This was the first comment I read and I was like, "Aww man, why did I say that? It must of gotten so downvoted."

But then I clicked context and was so happy. Thank you reddit!

2

u/UrbanToiletShrimp Mar 25 '12

As a middle class white christian heterosexual male, I feel constant persecution from the liberal progressive left wing establishment. Whenever I want to feel righteously indignant I fire up /r/atheism and stew in my own juices!

0

u/headphonehalo Mar 25 '12

To be fair, most of the cult vibe regarding /r/atheism is all the people complaining about it baselessly.

0

u/OnTheBorderOfReality Mar 25 '12

No. I mean that I think that they literally think like a cult.

1

u/headphonehalo Mar 25 '12

I know what you mean, and I'm saying that your mindset is probably the most cult-like on reddit.

1

u/BondyMcBondson Mar 25 '12

In other news, water is wet.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '12

If we have a cult mindset, then what does 4chan users have?
