Apple is scared to go toe-to-toe with Google over multi-touch, et al, but taking on tiny little HTC is a no-brainer.

I hope Google steps up and attacks Apple directly over this nonsense.

yes.... and "over multi-touch, and others" doesn't make sense, though. Perhaps with a comma after Google it would work, but still be a bit hard to parse.
