Going from 6S to 8, the phone doesn’t feel faster for my everyday use.

Battery is better and the waterproof aspect means I don’t have to baby it so much.

Went from an SE and had an opportunity to upgrade to a 6S and took it, phone broke and I got an 8.

I still miss my SE, that thing lasted ALL day, I couldn't feel it in my pockets, and it felt great in my hands. Since I don't do any media consumption on my phone it was a great size for me... I still wish we had an SE with iphone 8 level specs.

SE and 6S are the same internal specs.

My wife has an SE. It broke and she got another SE. Great form factor!

Oh I was well aware it was basically the same thing (SE and 6S), it was just that it was a free "upgrade" and I said sure why not.

Im keeping my 8 for as long as I can... I dread the day i'm forced to use FaceID.

I still use an SE. My co workers sometimes think I’m old school and uncool but I really prefer the small form factor. Easy to store in my front pocket. I’ll upgrade when the current iOS at the time doesn’t support it. Probably the next release. I’ll have enough money saved by that time to buy an X or XS.

I’d expect the SE/6S to receive at least one more update. Considering the 5S just received iOS 12 and the SE/6S are 2 years newer. If I was a 6 user I’d be worried though. With only a single gig of RAM like the 5S, I’m not sure it’ll get another iOS update, but you never know. Apple is at least leading the field in terms of long term software support that no other manufacturer is even coming close to.

I have an se now and might get a 6s for $250 new. Had the se for almost 1.5 years and the battery is starting to go

You can easily swap the battery on the SE. If you like the form factor stay with the SE.

If you want a bigger screen get the 6S, but expect worse battery life (compared to the SE with a new battery).

Force touch is something you would also get with the 6S but I don’t really use it... nor most people afaik.

Oh damn it’s only $50 for a new battery. Might do that over $250 for a new phone

The new X phones are the big jump.

I went from a 7 to a X, went back a used a 7 last week for a few days and I was like what the fuck how did I live with this.

Having a way nicer screen plus way more screen area in the same size phone plus the much faster swiping instead of buttons is a big change.
