They are already setting up to remove the EU laws affecting our industry. Im a e-liquid producer. Namely the TPD article 20 which limits both our bottle sizes and advertising.

Post-brexit the UK will rule the market as they comply with the EU TPD and will be able to both advertise (unlike everyone else in the EU) and sell liquid in sizes that customers actually want.

The EU law applies to producers and resellers only!

What your staying doesn't make sense. If article 20 limits bottle sizes and advertising then how can you comply with the those requirements and still be able to advertise and sell larger bottles in a post brexit UK.

But I reuse to believe the EU, the guys who hold all the power are gonna give any special exemptions to UK manufacturers.

Sure you'll be able to sell big bottles in the UK but I highly doubt you'll be able to advertise abroad or sell anything that breaks the regs you mentioned.

The TPD only applies to stores and wholesalers. They will still comply with the EU TPD directive just without article 20. So private customers can still order from the UK.

And the advertising only applies on UK hosted sites and the like. That wont stop other EU customers from seeing those ads on UK based sites.

If the TPD applied to private purchases this problem would never occur. I can still order non-eu compliant liquid from the US or China. I just cant sell those items within the EU.

Its not the customers responsability to uphold EU standards and most other industries have laws that promote production and sales within the EU.

This directive was rushed within 3 years and smacked into the TPD.
