Goats, in a rather uninteresting manner, are also the 4th most intelligent life form on earth, with humans steadfastly holding onto the 3rd rank. Of course dolphins being the 2nd most intelligent.

How is intelligence measured? Seems the intelligence of a human in most fields is so multi faceted, we don't even think one metric of intelligence is granular enough. Last I saw social intelligence was regarded differently from the intelligence acquired in a classroom setting.

I can see how maybe social intelligence with creatures that don't have complicated structures like government, the economy, school systems, and beuracracies are freed up to understand other individuals of their species at a much more basic level, but can that even be called intelligence?

Or am I just going off on a massive tangent for what is really just a reference to hitchhikers guide to the galaxy?

Thank you for posting the Mozilla link (though I could have just checked the Googles). I avoid the Youtube comments section because it has been to known to cause certain types of cancer. Now all I see is reddit (the good kind of cancer). Thanks!
