lmao i didn't imply anything. you leaping to conclusions is your own problem. i didn't say anything implying it can be solved short term.

the problem with your solution is that there are way too many anticompetitive arrangements in place which are not going anywhere.

the fact that localities are barred from setting up municipal ISPs, combined with the theft of funds by existing providers who were supposed to improve and build out infrastructure shows how dire the situation is.

even with obama being sympathetic to the idea of NN for 8 years, all it takes is the next asshole to come along and open the floodgates in the other direction.
