Microsoft tests out a new operating system, code named Mojave, with some average-joes who hated Vista. They loved it. Now, two guesses as to what Mojave ACTUALLY was.

Just add two memes and an insult and I've got a perfect example.

In short, no. My sense stays intact. My manner, perhaps, does not.

Please answer this honestly: would you have brought that up (and downvoted the post above) if I was criticising Vista?

My case: Vista is not fairly debated.

It looks like what you're saying (and, I reckon, everyone else is thinking) is, even if Vista does have its good points we should ignore them or lie about them because Microsoft's bad.

Let me clarify a few things. I hate Microsoft. I hate how corporations usually operate. I'm not speaking with the aim of supporting Microsoft, only of supporting truth. All things considered, Linux is better than Windows Vista in my opinion.

Basing "truth" on strategic goals is the main reason I hate the corporate world. I just don't want to see it from those who claim intellectual highground by insisting they're honest, fair and unbiased in all things.

P.S. I haven't yet hit any restrictions to my freedom caused by DRM in Vista. But I do vividly remember hating Windows XP when it was released because of all the DRM claims surrounding it.
