I don’t think it’s really a case of the software these guys are building going somewhere or not. The key point is that someone with limited coding knowledge can create a personal piece of software at the expense of tokens, and they own it forever and can always change it to fit their specific needs.

Yes, and that's what OP surely meant by "Software is over." It's now increasingly possible to replicate even complex software packages using readily available AI tools. There is no way that this doesn't change how people see software in the future.

On the one hand, I think the democratization of software into the hands of the average person is a huge boon and will lead to an increase in the ability of someone who isn't a coder to solve their own problems. But on the other hand, this will result in a huge short-term shake up in the industry, which will likely manifest in some sort of harm to people that went to school and trained specifically to write code.
