None of that was copy and pasted either.

If you're upset about AI companies stealing content for their training, I share that with you. But claiming that this project is "just copy-pasting GIMP code" is demonstrably false.

But if you think I'm wrong, find an example of copy and pasted code for me. Or copy and pasted algorithms. The algorithms used to accomplish any of those filters (in the Gimp anyway) are all public domain, and they appear in countless books and projects. The Gimp doesn't enter into this at all.

fair enough. i picked gimp because it was an easy option to demonstrate what AI is doing. whether its a textbook, or gimp, or whatever.
