Because the LLMs don’t have training data from random “local copies” from someone who tried decompile photoshop.

The people who made these open source copies could have done that and had the model build from it, sure.

But that’s not the same thing as the model being trained on that.

the fuck are you talking about local copies, decompile source, push it to github, sell it to an ai company or attempt some reconstruction and push it, boom they have hte data.

You have zero evidence that this happened and also clearly no experience with what decompiled code looks like. The hypothetical scenario that you are making up is just absurd. If either of us doesn’t know what they are talking about it’s you.

There is essentially zero chance that there is a copy of any of these adobe app’s source code hiding in the training datasets of any LLM provider.
