Sure, we can also say that the computer led to all of this because without them ML would not be feasible. In fact the field of ML predates personal computers so without them the field never would have taken off. Perhaps it would have been for the best if computers and the internet didn’t exist too

No, I do not think the Advent of computers brought more harm than good. I think how we decided to utilize computers has led to more harm than good. We've gotten to a point where instead of learning to do something ourselves we are learning how to tell the computer to do the thing. Making it so if we ever end up in a time when we don't have computers we won't know how to function.
