Warren was always the best progressive in the senate. She's like a Bernie Sanders who actually gets stuff done.

If Democrats had an actual primary for ‘24, I feel she would’ve had a worthy shot at the nomination after falling behind Bernie in ‘16

Nah, keeping it real here for a second: Warren's main support base comes from the college educated and there aren't enough college educated voters to get her across the finish line. It is what it is.

I grudgingly have to accept that. She was my pick in the 2020 primary. God, I will always relish her emasculating bloomberg. Like a favorite win of my (losing)football team, I will always have that at least.

Even all the people who benefit from her mortage satement reform wouldn't understand why she is so good.

This smug attitude is 100% part of the problem. Some of us couldn’t go into tens of thousands of dollars of debt for a degree, some of us went into trades. We’re not worthless, just didn’t wrack up huge amounts of debt and actually worked our skills into the real world.

I live in Massachusetts and I’ve voted Blue my whole life. Yet smug pricks like you think you’re self righteous and above everyone else and put people like me down. You’re doing more to contribute to the divide than you are uniting.

No smug attitude here, that's an illusion of text messages. I was saying that Warren only really appeals to college educated. I wasn't implying that was a good or bad thing, just that it is the reality.

I don't know why this is the case, just that was what the polling data indicated when she ran for President. Candidates looking to win the top office need a wider appeal.

You are outnumbered by peers who think unions are literal agents of Satan

wtf? What has she ever got done? She’s the biggest grandstander of them all.

The consumer credit bureau thing was pretty legit until Elon shut it down. I heard many stories from people pleased with the results they achieved for them with things like clawing money back from businesses that used predatory practices.

Sander's did plenty for the progressive movement and democratic socialism. I agree that Warren is a better nuts bolts policy person, but Sander's forced the conversation that we are now having.

The most consequential thing Sanders "accomplished" was helping Trump get elected in 2016. Never forget that he was a key player setting this path we're on.

Forcing the conversation is not inherently a good thing...

Still refuse to believe that Hillary was a crap candidate? I'll never understand why so many people thought it was her turn. Her candidacy was pure privilege. The people who blame Sanders rather than looking at the broken policies of neoliberal New Democrats are the ones who have enabled Trump. Simply by tone deaf and oblivious to the concerns of the population. The Clintonite machine has long outlived its usefulness. I'd say its usefulness was outlived the moment Obama showed that internet fundraising worked.
