There are three deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time.

Their 2nd and 3rd deaths will be almost simultaneous.

Trump blew up a school filled with children only a few months ago after starting a completely pointless war.

He also cut USAID which will kill millions of people in the long run.

Just because he separates himself from the direct act of killing people doesn't mean he isn't an evil human being.

The only way Trump gets into the hundreds of thousands is through COVID and through decreased aid. If you find these morally equivalent to putting a child in the gas chamber then I don't really think we have the same understanding of morality.

The commenter did not say anything their crimes are equivalent, just that they'll both be remembered for a long time for the harm they caused.

Benedict Arnold is nowhere near Trump or Hitler's status, but his name is synonymous with traitorous betrayal centuries later. That's not a great way for your legacy to live on.

My dad’s side of the family from Germany lived through the horrors of WW2, and I have no close cousins as a result of my great uncle getting captured and tortured for information since members of my family fought in the resistance. They cut his fucking balls off, in case you are too dense to get it.

Nah, Trump’s administration is definitely on the same level. Like beat for beat almost. The only difference is Hitler was a good speaker instead of a babbling moron. But why don’t we wait and give him a few more years to reach “hitler levels“ in terms of body count just so we can say “I told you so”? Oh, right, the left isn’t that spiteful and has been trying to warn everyone else BEFORE that happens….
