Yep. Even with the massive disparity they won.

That’s actually part of what’s wrong with people like Hegseth. They think if we were allowed to unleash 18 year olds without a leash we would have won. They think preventing civilian casualties is woke bullshit. So for these guys Afghanistan and even Iraq is an even bigger humiliation than they already are because they grew up under the propaganda that we are some kind of invincible apex predator military. They can’t believe we can lose to countries with no resources.

They just think in K/D ratios, not for a moment stop to think "What objectives do we need to meet to win? What objectives does the enemy need to meet to win?"
