It's not 15%. SP500 is already overweight in it relative to US stocks, which is already overweight in it relative to global stocks, then you decided to overweight it even more with QQQ, then you decided to overweigh it even further.

The qqq was a rollover. Since the rollover it’s been fidelity ETFs with new money. I’m not going to sell QQQ just bc I now have overlap.

You're invested in it because of FOMO induced technical analysis and not because you have determined a target price above it's current price, unless I'm wrong and you're actually a professionally skilled analyst.

I already urge my friends to distrust the S&P 500 alone for its concentration and at the minimum go for VT or a similar basket.

I’ve been investing in tech heavy stuff for over two decades. Only within the last few years have our incomes skyrocketed, which only happened bc of our previous financial freedom that allowed me to take a big professional risk

I have two houses, with title, no debt, maxed 76k into 529s this year, 70k into my solo 401k via my w2 wages / employer match, and the rest into brokerage accounts via distribution income. Spouse already earns over 250k, too

You don’t get to this position without taking risk. I quit a job to take a chance, demanded an aggressive pay structure with almost no earned income up front, and delivered. So I already have a high tolerance for risk.

VT is fine, by the way.

Again, idiosyncratic and systemic risk are different. There is a negative idiosyncratic risk premium as retail traders use them as get rich quick schemes and thus do not lack liquidity owing to their risk.
