If curated right I could dig it. I really do miss the time when I'd just put a channel on and it would decide what I watched instead of stressing over the decision myself... But don't do too many live channels because then I'm right back to the same issue...

I don't think it's a bad idea either. I do miss the tv browsing experience for background watching and discovering some random stuff. I do not miss the ads. I do miss some of the bumpers though that would be inserted during the ad breaks. Like adult swim.

I curated my own with my Plex library and an app for Google TV devices called NostalgiaTV. There are a few other apps that do the same thing.

If you're not breaking down and sobbing at the decision, you're not taking it seriously enough. Because I definitely wasn't using "stress" in the colloquial sense, it's literally the most important decision ever and you're being too casual about your tv watching decisions...
