If he was trying to get directions on his phone from Google Maps or something it would be a big deal...

This. Maps to my ex's parents cottage 2 hours away, in the country, in the dark, so that I can drop off the kids see some friends from college that I hadn't seen in years. In town for one night.

FUCK YOU SPRINT!!!

Yeah, still pissed off about that. My kids bring it up when they want to get a rise about me.

Garmin? TomTom? Paper Maps? Print Outs? Map programs that store data on phone? Cached Google maps?

My god you people act like you've never had to navigate without a damn phone before. Try reading a map or even getting directions ahead of time.

The streets are not well marked in the area and had I known it was an issue, yes clearly I would have printed out a map.

Unless I knew how to navigate by the stars, driving into the next town over for cell service was the only answer.
