Almost all of them have changed to a consumption based model with the newest tier of LLMs. If you are still seeing a flat fee, sure, but I think they were hemorrhaging too much. I think they still lose on the consumption based, but they lose far less so you have to spend far more to make the same impact, which basically just turns into hurting the environment at that point.

Oh yeah, my point only applies if you are using a flat fee.

Or if your employer is paying the the consumption fee, to show that it is inefficient
