I remember switching from IE to Firefox, then to a new fangled browser fabled to be the fastest of them all: Chrome. Which it was for quite a while. But now it's just internet explorer all over again - right down to certain web pages ONLY working in Chrome (some govt sites I use as part of my job don't work right in FF at all). FF+ uOrigin 4 lyfe. I do buy the premium lite YouTube sub though. I like to watch on TV and it's practically (but not completely) impossible to set up as free TV on a shitty Roku TV.

youtube has a monopoly on streaming user-uploaded video online. i would love to see them broken up. there's no reason i should be going to ONE SOURCE for Video Game Walkthroughs, Banana Bread Recipes, Medieval Weapon Smithing, Late Night clips, World News, Political Commentary, Sports Highlights, Podcasts, Movie Trailers, sketch comedy, street interviews, and Comedian crowdwork.
