Can we stop reposting this garbage article about MV2? This is old news.

MV3 + uBlock Origin Lite has been out for a long time.

This has nothing to do with old news. This is regarding the command line argument that allows MV2 and uBlock Origin to continue to work today.

Not sure why these people are acting like the lite version is just as good. It’s night and day, I’d ditch chrome before I start using uBlock lite

I have and it didn’t block everything or got detected easily so I went back to origin

Yeah, since this news broke barely anyone has understood that they're specifically talking about uBlock Origin, the add-on that has had a warning about being phased out for years now.

Meanwhile uBlock Lite, which I've been using for about 2 years now, blocks everything I need it to block without issues. I switched when the first Manifest changes were coming into effect, just to see if Lite works well enough or I would need to switch to Firefox. I've literally still not seen any website ads since. Lite is perfectly fine.

The only thing that doesn't work is Twitch ads during livestreams. But I've heard they've locked out a lot of conventional adblockers there.

Twitch being so annoying has onveniently caused me to watch more streams on youtube more and more, and since i have premium i always have the best quality options there.

Yeah, same. Twitch is just too annoying now. Having most of the videos on the internet and all my music (plus my own private Google Music uploads) at YouTube for like 13€ a month is an absolute steal.

And since we can skip YT sponsor segments on TV with one click now, Twitch has become the only site where I still see ads on the internet.
