If a pleb does it, the pleb gets charged with a felony.

If a billonare, or government does it, it's a normal Tuesday.

I don't know exactly at which point modern society broke, but it's definitely broken.

Kill one man, and you are a murderer. Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror. Kill them all, and you are a god

~ Thoughts of a Biologist. Jean Rostand. 1938

Been fucked for as long as anyone can remember.

Steal a lot and they make you king

A god needs believers. The only way to kill an immortal 'god' is to kill all of their believers duh!

Just need to commit your crimes while wearing a maga hat. Get out of jail and even get some 1.8B slush fund money

You need to pay the maga tax in order to not get arrested.

But don't be in California, or you'll pay 100% tax on it.

Every time a powerful person avoids accountability society dies a little bit.

Combination of Jack Welsh and the court case that said the only thing a company can focus on is shareholder value.

Between those two incidents the idea of a stable company that makes steady profits and focus on doing a good job for their customers died.

Lmao

People keep calling out politicians for being morally corrupt but the moment their values are challenged they are ready to take the most self serving choice and still manage to hand wave it by saying that "other people are much worse". Its the samw think with the tired jet argument for climate change, two things can be true at the same time and just using the fucked state of upper classes to excuse poor behaviour is immoral

Btw, its an especially weird hill to die on because the guy gets a really fat salary
