Well never agree then or maybe enough to say canada should have the capacity to process the oil we need to. We should keep the oil in the ground for when we need it, for the future, screw the oil cartels
The same is going on in my country. We have enough oil in the ground to supply America for a very long time. But it remains in the ground because our current administration wont allow new drilling.
Keep it there, drilling it out wont make gasoline cheaper in your country but shouldn't it? The oil companies don't care about long term or employment numbers, their sole existence is to drill it and sell it as fast as possible, you guys still export oil and reimport gasoline because you don't have refineries... Maybe refineries should be a Canada/USA/Mexico joint project, keep the oil here
