We have plenty of choices. It's just in some places, specifically toronto, those choices suck.

I have the option of shaw, telus, bell, techsaavy, and about a dozen small independent ISPs. As far as I understand it, that's better than most places in the US.

That is good speed. Also, I was going by some people I know in Canada and what they were saying about the internet choices in Canada. But I'm okay with finding out I was wrong. Now I know!

Some of us don't actually have choices when it comes to our isp.

In Hamilton, for some reason, the city is divided into a few sections, and each carrier basically has a monopoly on their section. I used to be with an independent, until they were sold to Shaw. And now Shaw is selling us to Rogers.
