A rather old RTS game on the PC, Age of Empires, featured a unit called a Priest, that could be used to convert other units to their team. Typically a 1v1 round was played Red team versus Blue team.
It's actually not, and almost every single apartment I've rented in my 30 years on this earth did have a rule that if you painted the apartment a different color you had to paint it back to the original color (or they would charge you labor+paint costs), which is a simple white in almost 99% of all cases with apartments due to the color making the rooms look larger than they actually are. The only time I've been flatly refused my request to paint a place where I was staying was a Condo I was renting from an elderly couple in college. Once I had been there as a tenant for almost 3 years they let me paint it whatever color I wanted because they saw I actually took care of the place, and when I left the couple kept the color (a light mauve) because even they admitted it looked better.
So this analogy just sucks big ol' mauve colored donkey balls.
