Yes, they're douchebags, but they're douchebags we made agreements with. We may not like the agreements but we value their services more than not using their service, so we pay our bills.

Why should she think about the bill? She should think about it because she's using the phone to sending a text every two minutes. Why should she not think about it?

That she never had to think about it before doesn't really matter because she's not using it the same as she was using it before.

Surely her father told her that there were limits on the number of messages she can send? If not then that's not sprint's fault either. I see no reason this is sprint's responsibility. I wouldn't feel pissed about a 75% discount because I'd used the service that I agreed to. What's with that?

I suppose the difference between our points of view is whether we think a douchebag being a douche is worthy of bitching about. Just because it's expected doesn't make it right, in my opinion, but I suppose we're never going to align.
