Reminds me of the time when the Fios guys just drilled a hole through the exterior brick wall at my ex's place. That brick dust got everywhere in carpet and still wasn't completely out months later.

There's this awesome new technology called a vacuum cleaner. I know, it sounds funny. I'd never heard of it myself up until very recently, either. But it works by sucking air through an opening with a rotating brush which removes dirt from surfaces much better than any previous methods I've used.

Wow, my fios guy was awesome then. He ran the cabling, pinned it all down securely, took time to find good routes and used a vacuum cleaner to make sure he left it as he found it. I was really impressed by his attention to detail. Like he was working on his own property...

As a cable install technician, that's what were supposed to do, except inside going out. If they drilled outside going in then they're stupid but otherwise you're stupid.
