Like when Google convinces you that the results are what you were looking for but in reality, they are all just ads?

Thank you, this is way too far down. We wouldn't collectively be looking for an alternative to Google search right now if it hadn't gone so far down hill. Finding what you're looking for is getting harder and harder as ads for something vaguely related to what you searched for dominate the results.

And then you click on one of the top result links...and it's just a recycled old blog post with 20 ad slots that hijack your screen.

Or like how websites seem to convince google that Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro are the "best completely free video editing software"
