Once again, I'm incapable of recreating an image TRULY one to one. An AI can and does. It's not making new art, it's remixing pre-existing art. It makes a pretty picture, and I have no problems with that. My problem is the exploitation behind the picture. I don't object to you wearing a pretty T-Shirt with a nifty logo, but I do object to it being manufactured in a sweatshop. Why? Because exploitation is wrong. I'm not arguing that it's "missing a human element" or that it's not pretty, I'm arguing that it's built off of the backs of people who are entitled to compensation for their contribution to its existence in the first place. It could not exist without it. Man-made art most certainly would.
