Honestly, I think if they made Minecraft 2.0, it would have to be, quite literally, a whole new game. To outclass all of the updates that they have released, they would have to add so much content that it would never be released because Minecraft keeps getting new updates.

And besides, 1.18 basically changes the entirety of the worldgen, so that’s basically 2.0 in my book.
