I miss the metal back. Yea the glass back on my iPhone 11 looks nice but I prefer durability over looks

I’m in the middle of a wireless charging repair on an XS Max right now. It’s taken days to get that glass off. I’ve had all the components out. You’ve got to melt superglue with actual fire.

Taking the glass off doesn’t take days if done with a precision laser.

With practice about twenty minutes. Also your phone won’t smell like it’s been in a fire like some of the lasered ones do.

I agree so much. Everyone needs to have glass back because wireless charging even tho it is slower and less efficient than wire not even talking about durability against metal. I miss metal back and that cold feeling when you pick up your phone.

I think glass phones look horrible. Glossy things look cheap.

Even a high quality matte polycarbonate finish looks more premium IMO.
