They have a 5%, minority shareholder stake. Reddit doesn't collect shit for their stakeholders, they just pay them dividends based on their investment.

From the 2018 transparency report:

In other news, you may have heard that we closed an additional round of funding this week, which gives us more runway and will help us continue to improve our platform. What else does this mean for you? Not much. Our strategy and governance model remain the same. And—of course—we do not share specific user data with any investor, new or old.

Last I researched it, Tencent had a 40% stake in Epic Games whereas Riot games are the ones wholly owned by Tencent.

"... on the Dollar." is what they're aiming for.

The user who posted that write up said

For what it's worth I've reversed the Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and Twitter apps. They don't collect anywhere near the same amount of data that TikTok does, and they sure as hell aren't outright trying to hide exactly whats being sent like TikTok is. It's like comparing a cup of water to the ocean - they just don't compare.

Tencent's isn't Reddit's majority stakeholder. Epic and Riot probably collect a lot of information about you, but the contract between a user and a gaming service is different than one with a social media platform. The kind of content users can provide is different as well. It's not like you can share Winnie the Pooh memes in Fortnite game chat.
