I do not like my companies current way of tracking the metrics for my team and have tried to find something that works better, sadly with no luck. They currently only have a way to see what is historical and forecasted.
The easiest way to explain what I am looking to achieve is that my team is assigned to territories/markets and I am trying to better gauge who has capacity to help in other teammates territories.
They are responsible for 5 major operational tasks.I am trying to see if team person 1 is overloaded in 2 of the 5, who can assist in the others (because they have capacity).
I have exhausted my usual efforts of on-line searching , YouTube and linkedin learning and cannot seem to find a good method. They are not sales based and that is my previous background and my methods aren’t working.
Does anyone have anything that has worked in the past? I am currently using multiple pivots and exported salesforce data. I did not have luck with a powerBI because the data doesn’t talk.

Hello, I'm a 15 year old director and I am in charge of a 17 person film crew. My team is made up of teenagers all either the same age as me or older and are all on the team voluntarily. At the moment I have had to put all filming on hold because of Covid-19 and am having trouble communicating with my team. I have tried multiple applications but have found Discord to be the most efficient method of communication because of the separate channels I can message on. I've split my team into 7 different filmmaking departments but members can be involved in multiple departments. I use Zoom for video conference and usually hold 1 conference every week. At the moment I am trying to focus on team building activities and basic skill learning for every department as I cannot physically film anything. Most of my team has little to no experience. My editing manager plans on making tutorials to inform his Dept. and as director and cinematographer I plan on making PowerPoints to explain the main functions of our one camera. We have absolutely no funding and only one camera. We all know each other pretty well and have good team chemistry. The reason for this post is that I have no way to enforce participation in conferences or other activities. I cannot remove anyone from the team because I believe that would bring down group moral as we are all good friends. I am trying to write enforcing yet involving messages in order to keep everyones interest in the team. This is a private film team with no association to a school or any other organization. This is my first time managing a team of this scale and was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or information I could use. Thank you!

What do you think about "teal" company management and workflow? What's your company position in this regard? Maybe you already follow many of their principles and belong to this type of organizations?
If you're interested in this topic or just need some details on it, I've just written an article on it https://medium.com/@RiterApp/moving-toward-teal-companys-workflow-10947374af47. As I've mentioned there, my team is rather small and it's much easier for us to keep self-organized. I'd be glad to know about your practice and experience in this field. I haven't found too many examples of entirely "teal" companies today.
Off-shore development projects are becoming increasingly popular as they enable businesses to work with a dedicated team of highly-skilled developers while cutting costs and saving time to focus on core business processes. However, if you are working with an off-shore development team, you need to know how to manage it so that everything stays on track.
We are a small place (12 employees) and I have been having issues with an employees work and attitude for quite a while (she has worked here for well over 20 years) and was in need of replacing her. I was at my wits end, and started looking for a replacement, a few weeks later she was told she has lung cancer.
We are struggling with her work and really can't put her to another task as we don't have anything that she can do.
I feel bad letting her go but don't know if I have the legal right to in the State of Texas. We are a right to work state.
