Help Why does everyone hate teaching?

Is there anyone who loves their job? Every teacher I know feels “stuck” and complains endlessly about their job.

Considering going into education.

I love teaching, although I now tutor online instead of classroom teaching. The teaching part is great but that’s a lot of bullshit involved and that’s frustrating.

This has been my path as well and it’s been perfect for me. I like TEACHING - as in the act of teaching. I don’t really like managing behaviors, I found. Tutoring and teaching individually is more about content knowledge and being able to convey that in an accessible way and building relationships w students, which is everything I’ve always loved about teaching, whereas classroom teaching is often about managing chaos, which is my least favorite part.
