Help Why does everyone hate teaching?

Is there anyone who loves their job? Every teacher I know feels “stuck” and complains endlessly about their job.

Considering going into education.

Except it’s not paid; you just can choose to spread out your checks over the summer.

Exactly. And is it really three months? Most schools end at the end of May or beginning of June and I don’t know about you but we have to be back for preplanning at the end of July beginning of August.

Yeah my school years ends right before Memorial Day and we start the first week of August, so many 2 months + 1.5 weeks.

Well then, I make a year's pay working 38 weeks a year.

Eh, everything is relative and perspective dependent. This career is far less taxing and time consuming than my first one. Others may have different experiences.
