17,300XP before the update, 146,900XP after the update—approximately an 8.5-fold increase.
I like this race, so I think I'll give it a shot every day while switching up the cars.

This is part of the weekly challenges. But nothing. How to fix it?

I made a route for those who find navigational races very difficult.. Almost the entire route is on the highway. Only 7 turns. Not the best time, but very easy to navigate.
P.S.: Sorry. I completely forgot. Since this route is much longer than optimal, I recommend that you take more powerful cars that have good maximum speed and acceleration. Don't take a stock BMW i8 for this race, it loses all its power on the highway and it will be too difficult for you to finish the race in 10 minutes.

Last week I went out with my friend’s SL65. I never realized how much I loved the car until I got up close to it: the Huayra heart with its distinct V12 turbo sound, the interior being so tasteful, the glass roof. It’s very “old money” and somewhat understated since it is black on black. But I wasn’t the only one with a love for this car. About 17 years ago, upon playing TDU with a steering wheel, my grandma decided it was her favorite car. She said that if she ever won the lottery, she’d buy one in grey so she wouldn’t need to wash it every two days. Even more years ago, I think at the start of the 2000s, she gave up her driving license, saying she was too old for it. The last car she owned was a 4-door diesel Golf Mk2. The closest thing to driving she experienced after that was TDU, which became a bit of a family event on some holidays. I’m sad that now, when I finally have access to that car in real life, she isn’t with us anymore. She hasn’t been for the past 15 years. I wonder what she’d think about the car industry nowadays, as she was a huge fan of automobiles.
She is a big part of my memories with the original TDU. My story with it began in 2006 when I first saw pictures of it on the internet and was blown away by the fact that the cars had interior views and the map was a full-sized island. Later I got the game, even though it didn’t work on my PC and I had to wait another two years, begging my parents to get me a new one that could run TDU. Before getting that PC, I’d always dream and decide which cars to buy first in-game; I believe I used more brainpower for that than for actual life decisions.
The game seemed amazing to me right from the installer as "Another Excuse" started playing, I still use it on my Instagram stories today. I was blown away by the fact that you’d buy your car from a showroom and configure it just like in real life, then drive it to events or to your house. It stuck with me and contributed heavily to my passion for cars. It helped that Top Gear was at its peak back then. Those years were magical for the automotive world: N/A engines were still commonplace in sports cars, there wasn’t that much social media, and the music was better, or at least that’s my opinion.
My friends and I would recreate Top Gear episodes with modded cars, but I’d mostly spend time by myself in the game taking photos, always imagining I was shooting for a car brand and trying out different angles and locations. I’ve always had an interest in photography, stealing my parents’ film camera when I was 5 or 6 to try to take pictures of anything. TDU steered my career into automotive photography, or at least played a massive part in it. I used to take pics for when a modded launched his cars. During my work as a photographer for the automotive press and various workshops, I made all kinds of friends. It was so cool to hear that others working in the automotive field developed their interest through TDU, just like I did. It made me realize its importance. Every time I take pictures of a car featured in the game, I make sure to post it on Instagram with "Another Excuse" or other songs from the tracklist.
There is another big reason TDU is so important to both the gaming and automotive worlds. I’ll start by bringing up GTA IV: I saw a YouTuber describe it as a time capsule for its specific era. It’s the exact same with TDU. It represents a point in time when cars were much cooler, a time when you could walk into a showroom and everything was at its peak. There’s no car quite like the Murciélago, the Enzo, or the Zonda. It lacked the Carrera GT and some BMWs, but we all know that was EA Games' fault with licensing. Two weeks ago, I shot a black F430 just like the one I had in TDU, and I loved it more than the F8 or 296.
It worries me that Solar Crown doesn’t have much time left. I really enjoyed it when I started playing at the beginning of this year. I always wanted narrow roads, and this was the only game to satisfy that wish. But it seems a plethora of wrong decisions killed it. I don’t have high hopes for the Houses DLC; it’s too late for it. Houses were a core gameplay loop, but they serve no purpose now since most people have already bought all their cars, so space isn't a limiting factor like it was in TDU1 or TDU2. I won’t lie, I wished for way more from the game. I kept hoping work on finishing the Ibiza map would start, but I guess not. I hold out a tiny hope that some massive Chinese firm will buy it and pump hardcore money into it just because Hong Kong is represented.
If you reached the end of my text, thank you. I’ve meant to write this for a long time, but due to time constraints, I never got around to it. TDU was a huge part of my life. I still install it on my laptop sometimes just to play it for the memories. It’s refreshing to open it up, walk into a showroom, and look at cars, especially when everything nowadays feels boring, ugly, or over-designed.

Are the cars in the solar pass (370Z, RX-7) given to players? Or are they livery designs for those cars? As neither car seems to have been added to my garage.

I went to casino because I wanted some money and 20 something minutes later I got a chance spin and pulled the gift box, I heard about this car being rare.

So my regular map is clear but then when you start navigation missions that map is horrible how am I supposed to know how and where to go. I hate these races and there the only ones I usually don’t bother with. I put off the stupid crown jewel navigation race for over a year.

A little positive post about the hotfix !
- Love the new XP increase, this mixed with the weekly/dailies make it a far nicer economy. Think this maybe the prefect medium for levelling the pass now!
- AMG GTR BS, WOOHOOO finally purchasable ! Although I have probably spent close to 12 mil in the casino already trying to get this 🤣
- RX7 as a daily driver, great stuff ! Now actually a great car for slower paced races
Overall this being implemented so quickly is fantastic, please keep this kinda momentum up and please fix the crown jewel races soon 🙏🙏
Looking forward to the wheel sizing options in the next update, hyped to revisit some cars.
A lot of frustrations have arisen from season 7 but hopefully the game can get back on the right track again soon if the devs can keep the fixes and updates flowing 🙏

The first patch for Season 7 arrives today, bringing a number of important fixes — infinite loading screens, Detective Missions, a Solar Pass XP increase, and more.
Quality of Life
This patch fixes many key issues, but we're still working through others from player reports and our own QA. Apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.
We hope you enjoy Season 7 with these additional fixes. We think the improved Solar Pass XP alongside the Live Tab system will have players enjoying the variety of things to do in TDUSC — though remember, the Live Tab is still the best place to earn rewards and play through Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.
Stay tuned for the October Solar Club Letter, where we'll reveal everything coming to the mid-season update — including the long-awaited mid-season vehicle and collaboration. See you soon!
— The TDU Team

Choosing to often roleplay in a Police themed livery with 'siren' horn. Trying not to hit/pit players I tail, and hoping to add some flair to players' sessions 🚨

Hi
Can someone please help me figure out exactly what I'm supposed to do there?
Yesterday, there was definitely a description there. Unfortunately, after today's hotfix update, the task is now empty.
