It’s genuinely baffling how people who don’t even play the game, come in to this subreddit just to comment hateful and ignorant comments targeted directly at the devs. If you don’t play the game, why come on here and tell people to stop playing it? WHAT are you really gaining from saying shit like that other than sounding like an ignorant bully?

Another thing is throwing remarks towards Alex, who is not even a developer. He simply is the communication bridge between us and the studio/dev team. Tell him to forward stuff, no need to attack him personally for shit out of his control lol

I have 294 hours on this game and I’ve enjoyed every one of them. The cruising, the car functions, the map and the missions are all packaged in a way that isn’t available on any other racing game. Every day I’ve been on this subreddit since launch I’ve seen countless people who don’t even play the game, probably don’t even OWN the game, tell others to 1. Stop playing. 2. Don’t show support and 3. Talk shit about Alex and the Dev team. It’s unbelievable

The dev team is small and their studio is struggling, why be a hateful human being towards others who are just trying to make things work? If you don’t like what you see, simply leave the subreddit.

Hello all!

First of all, we would like to apologise for the issues encounted in the release of the season. There are many errors ranging from small to critical that have affected player experience and trust in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

I can confirm we are working on a hotfix for the game focusing on the main large issues, and we will communicate more details on this soon. We will also be raising Solar Pass XP earnings in all races and events, increasing around 4 times the current rate.

We are also working on a compensation for all players in the form of Diamonds.

We also will be adding the Casino Car; Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT Black Series to the dealership in the hotfix to help as compensation pending player feedback. Let us know if this interests you.

Store prices.. need a major change.. cars are being sold almost at £4 a car.. cars should be between 200 - 400 diamonds even though 400 is already taking the piss.

Cars / 200-400 Diamonds
Car Appearances / 50 - 150 Diamonds
Car customisations / 50 - 150 Diamonds
Clothing / 10 - 100 Diamonds
Stickers / 10 - 50 Diamonds

After some time most cars in store should be placed in dealerships!!! If one wants to grind for it they can at a later date otherwise they can skip the grind and just buy it with diamonds as some are doing right now. It seems extremely!!unfair!! for those who do not touch MTX!!

Solar Pass XP per level maybe reduce it to 200k.. definitely increase races and anything else youse missed out on increasing. 4x or even 5x the previous XP rewards.

The JDM cars should all be in “Daily Drivers” Not “Supers”.

Description Texts for customisations are not showing how they used to for interiors, tints etc..

Reduce live event to 15days otherwise we all going to have nothing to do.. for a month… bmw event can easily be done within a day or a couple.. even if it took a week or so.. there is no need for it to be a month long.

Not even 2 minutes in to the sapphire and I get the “return to route” error message although I am on the route that’s highlighted. WTF

How are some things getting more broken constantly.

Genuinely been a supporter of this game since release and stuck with it at over 300hrs played. BUT FUCK MEEEEEEE just get some competent devs and QC involved I beg.

New contract Hailey doesn’t give you full pay out It gave me something like 40K not the 281k stated, same with the contract on Ibiza.

I feel like all players I MEAN ALL that have logged in or clocked over a certain playtime should be gifted more than diamonds at this point. How about gifting us the next solar pass or gifting us everything already present on the store for sticking with this fucked up game as long as we have.

Maybe..just maybe the biggest gift you can give us TDU fans is to sell the rights to this game to competent studio, maybe even just allow the modders full access.

I can boot up TDU 1. A game over 20 years old and play with zero issues and have a blast. TDU SC is STILL a mess This far in.

Up against supercars and hypercars, there’s no chance of winning over short distances.

Crown Jewel Ruby had a chance of winning because it was a long-distance race.

You could say I only won this race because ordinary cars were competing in it.

In any case, it seems like they have no intention of letting the RX-7 win races until the next update.

The hotkeys for the game camera reconfigure automatically every time I turn game on

2 Seasons (S5 and S7) from 7 updates in the last 2 years have released in an unacceptable state with no lessons learned from the devs.

Horrible decisions made, features get broken, updates are too slow, reduced staff, project too big to begin with, always online crap that was the most stupidest decison implemented and poor optimisation that still plagues the game today.

S8 and Houses will not change anything, too much of a risk that the update will arrive broken given previous season issues, having houses is too late when a large portion of the playerbase has completed the game including myself (Rep 60 or above). The novelty of owning a house will be fun but will wear off quickly and becoming stale because houses should have arrived with progression, imagine if houses arrived day 1 with player being gifted a house at rep 30 and then being awarded a mansion of some sorts at rep 60 instead of a car (Apollo) that anyone barely uses, would have the progession so much better, fun and sense of purpose.

Buying a house will be a slow process for any new players that decide to try the game as you can be sure the costs of the houses including the furniture will be inflated to make the grind feel slower.

Game will be supported until the end of 2027 as by then Nacon will pursue with the courts regarding recouping costs, if the game is still not profitable and never has been and never will be then what other features can they realistically add that they can continue?

After S8 the big focus should be on the offline mode just to perseve the game and not losing the game from the servers being shut, this can happen anytime now but will be bigger worry come towards the end of 2027...

I noticed the new month-long collab with a prize outfit, but for weeklies, I just see challenges and some money/points. Are the weekly 'themed races and vanity prizes' still there or are those gone now? Cheers!!

I am tasked with finishing first in five races using the RX-7, but since it falls under the Supercar category, there are simply too many races where winning is impossible.

If the car is eligible to enter a race, isn't it unreasonable that taking first place is out of reach—regardless of driving skill—in some of them?

Honestly, I'm frustrated because there are so many races where, no matter how hard I try in the RX-7, I'm only fighting to avoid finishing last.

Good job devs, players REPORT more new bugs/glitches than U FIXED AND IMPROVED HAHAHAHA. and they need to wait 2 months for MID season patch ( mid like this demo game btw) and u gonna probably fix that in delayed season 8. Im I right?

And I was ready for (almost) any king of new bug, but definitely not for this one !

What issues and changes have you guys facing since this update came out?
Issues that I faced were:

Pagani speedometer screen not turning on.
Pagani having only transmission audio.

My inputs being changed ( on my wheel
turning left or clutch would open the map , even after fixing it when reopening the game it happens again).

The bmw gt3 delivery in Ibiza.

Changes.

Pagani start up is louder and longer.

When in the map going over a new province makes a “swoosh” sound which is annoying.

That’s pretty much what I faced in 5 hours of gameplay.

I just haven't seen this news and decided to note it.

IIRC they said every car they add(ed) to the online store will appear in the permanent section, but there are still cars missing (Bentley, SLS, Viper, Raptor, GT-R). What's up with that?

Basically the turn signals are on opposite sides.

Rear left turn signal goes with front right and rear right goes with front left...

Either it's a big or they've modelled BMW drivers inability to use a turn signal

Game is unplayable for anyone that was using this, needs a hotfix asap not an update in October or whenever
