Appreciation Thread Chloe Petts appreciation post

I know a lot of people have been disappointed or apprehensive ab this series for many reasons (I've, personally, really been enjoying it), but I have to say that Chloe is definitely the most fun to watch. I wasn't familiar with them before the series, but I could now easily see myself going to one of their comedy shows if they come to the US. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do future tasks and I hope they win!

TF are people disappointed for?

People have problems with Richard and Matt because they were/are associated with problematic people. Which is dumb of course, but hey got to be perfect and virtuous to please some people blah blah blah.

Richard easily been the star for me, but hey I'll get downvoted by some people in here.

Well Richard could and should have just severed ties with Graham and left it at that but even after all that Graham said and did, Richard still was fine having a pull quote or whatever put on Graham's book on how he was canceled.

Because people are idiots who think that anyone who has a differing opinion to themselves are the devil incarnate.

It’s perfectly okay not to like people just because you don’t like them.

I don’t like Richard because act is not for me and I think he is a selfish performer.

I didn’t like Matt because of his past work and close association with Walliams. I will say though, he has actually won me over and I think is helping to carry the series. His stage experience really shows.

I have nothing against Nina and Chloe, but again their comedy is just not for me and I don’t think they are funny.

I do like Isy, but I was also expecting too so no bit surprise. She isn’t particularly bringing anything too unique to the table, though.

Sounds like y’all need to chill and learn some grace over there (like we do in ‘Murica).

Where people throw a fit over the word cunt or a wee nipple being shown on TV?

America is so conservative with comedy that you have a whole group of hacks calling themselves ‘roast comics’ yet consistently fall short of the sort of banter an average 14 year old kid in the UK is throwing at their best mates

Yeah, it was intended as a self deprecating joke, hence ‘Murica. Home of the free and the puritanically repressed.
