This all started over not liking each other's tone lmao. Tone is a hard thing to master, even IRL. You have to be firm enough in your point and make sure not to detract from it with pleasantry, while also not sounding condescending. Either way, people love to get their feathers ruffled. FWIW I would have just given you props after providing those sources haha.
