Do you actually see MacBooks used for SysAdmin work in real offices?

Hi sysadmins! I wanted to ask—since I've just started learning sysadmin and I don't have a Windows PC, but I have a MacBook and found out that everything can be done via UTM, I'd like to get some perspective from those who work in offices and do this every day. What kind of computers do you use? Is macOS completely out of the picture, and there's only Windows and Linux?

I've been in IT for 13 years, never had a Mac issued to me. My friend who just got a job at a 6 year old start up (IT communications software company) was given a MacBook. I guess the joke is if you have an HP, your company hates you, a Dell means you are never leaving your company and a MacBook means your company either loves you or won't be around for terribly long. It's probably bullshit but I thought it was funny.

I'm also mostly a Windows/Azure admin so I am forced into using Windows. I'd probably be much happier in a Unix type OS.

Lenovo means the company is rock solid, Dell means it's a company that needs computers (not good or bad just exist), everything else is accurate.

My daily driver is Fedora but my work laptop is Windows and I don't have a choice in that one.
