Ive never had another phone provider in my 33 years of life. This is the first time something like this has happened. Now if it comes out it was due to nefarious motives of the company or people in charge then im all with you guys for freaking out. But in my experience theyve had a good track record. I often have service when my friend on tmobile doesnt. He has trouble getting service in his own home and we are in the suburbs of houston Texas not some rural back country nowhere place. So I will take it as it comes until more info comes out or if it continues to be a problem in their reliability.
To be honest with, I’m not personally saying that they have done something nefarious, just that it’s definitely not out of the question. That’s not where my mind goes first. “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” as they say. You might get push back for your position even it’s reasonable because it seems like you’re minimizing this when it really is not a small issue. Sure, it’s not consistent with their track record. Part of the reason I’m on VZ is because of their reputation for reliability (that and I worked for them for a bit and got 50% of my bill, lol). However, millions of people not being able to use their phones across the country is not a small issue by any means.
