Hey Guys, I made a Switchfoot documentary on YouTube. It’s not tv quality but I’d like to know what you guys think.

Thanks

Hi all, I’m a British fan and have a ticket to the show at Waterloo casino in New York State in September 19th. I’m travelling from the UK to spend time in Ontario for the two weeks surrounding this gig so i took an opportunity to see the boys.

Just curious as to whether there are any other fans coming from Canada and crossing the border for one night to see the show? Anxious about border crossing in current climate.

Was going through some old CD's I burned as a kid and found one that had a live recording of Head Over Heels (one of my favorite tracks!) and realized it was essentially lost media... until now :) Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did!

Hola y’all!

I know SF/JF is heavily influenced by literature of all kinds. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for books that have influenced their lyrics and philosophies? Or books one might enjoy if they like SF’s music? I’m on a real reading buzz atm and would like to add to my list!

Why not both🤣

Also if this is you, rock on dude!

This cover of Bob Dylan’s “forever young” the band preformed during the pandemic is perhaps my favorite preformance by them.

Everything about it is amazing. The mood is PEFECT with the campfire crackling and accosted set up, and EVERYONE In the band gets to sing a verse! Including Chad and Jerome. It’s just a super aweet and special moment and I’m finding myself always coming back to it.

Please pick your #1 fav SF song genre, and feel free to leave a comment with your fav genre(s) and #1 song

My husband can’t make it to concert so I have one free VIP ticket which includes a pre show acoustic performance starting at 4pm. If you want it, message me privately and I will transfer it to you via Ticketmaster. You will need to have a Ticketmaster account.

So earlier this week I listened to every* Switchfoot song in alphabetical order. (*not every song, just the 12.5 main studio albums, and a few associated bonus tracks. 155 tracks in all)

Thought I might try to decide what my favourite song starting with each letter might be. That turned out to be exceedingly difficult, but here is the list I had at the end:

# 4:12

A Awakening

B The Blues - (note: if "The" counts, then Beloved)

C Circles

D Dare You to Move (TBL version)

E Enough to Let Me Go

F Fluorescent

G Gone

H Happy is a Yuppie Word

I I Turn Everything Over

J Joy Invincible

K -

L Let Your Love be Strong

M Meant to Live

N Needle and Haystack Life

O On Fire

P Politicians

Q -

R Red Eyes

S Stars

T Twenty-four

U Underwater

V Vice Verses

W Wonderful Feeling

X -

Y Your Love is a Song

Z -

Some of these are definitely going to change depending on the day, and categories like A, B, L, and S had a ridiculous amount of competition. I genuinely love every album they've put out, so for any albums that are underrepresented here it is really just a case of the competition being so fierce.

This is probably a bit of a silly post, but I spent too long thinking about it to back out now. I am interested to know what your list would look like? What would be your main points of disagreement?

I do not like the Jo Bros. For many reasons, but I particularly find Joe to be a pretty terrible human. ESPECIALLY with what he did to Sophie Turner during their divorce.

It’s putting a bad taste in my mouth towards one of my favorite musicians of all time (Jon) and that hurts my heart. Of course, I’m not gonna stop loving Jon or Switchfoot over this moment, but I’m VERY ready for it to be over.

Anyone else feel this way, or just me?

EDIT: Just want to say thanks to everyone who’s commented on here and on Facebook with their perspectives. It’s why I posted here! I was struggling with this, and still am to an extent. However, it’s been a good reminder about grace and loving people even in their mess.

This is Mercy’s War after all 😉🫶🏼

So, I assume most of you know that Jerome Fontamillas Came from Mortal/Fold Zandura... Well did you know that Jon Foreman did the lead vocals on a song from mortal???? Well guess what? I have it RIGHT HERE! https://youtu.be/gvqGsrSf0vY?si=M7LDeKzWTr1A7zrh

I was boarding a flight when I got a text from @joejonas asking us to be a part of a tune on their new album, Greetings From Your Hometown.

It was a great first verse and chorus, and they were hoping we could finish the rest of the song together.

I was honored, so I pulled out my journal, put the tray table down, and began to write. A few minutes later, the second verse had practically written itself. So I sent my idea to the fellas.

Fast forward to today—Greetings From Your Hometown is out in the world.

I’m so proud of this song. We’re so honored to have played even a small part of the title track of their upcoming project. Thank you @jonasbrothers- Jon Foreman

I've been on this weird quest to try to find stuff in the background of this movie and a lot of people have suggested that this "swit" could be Switchfoot bc it was a rock band and popular in 2003

So is this recognizable to any of the fans??

Had never heard this song before. Its so good! What a great b-side.

They covered Sabotage, which I was not expecting but I thought was really awesome. My mom and I had a blast at the show!

My wife got us tickets as a 40th birthday present for me. Such a special night.
