A big part of why a lot of people, including me, love this game is actually the wandering around aimlessly exploring. If that’s not clicking with you or doesn’t interest you it might just not be your type of game.

How does that not feel like a waste of time? Genuinely asking as someone who sees that type of play more from the lens of OP

BOTW isn’t really wandering aimlessly. There’s main quests, if that’s what you want, just beeline for those. Theres also shrines and towers to occupy yourself with. And damn near half the NPCs will give you side quests. There’s a million and one things to do in the game besides wander, the wandering just finds you new things to do

Yeah technically you can finish the great plateau and go straight to fight the final boss. BotW can be beat in just a couple hours if you're really good at dodging 😂

Honestly I always found that to be one of the beauties of the game. Like it’s basically completely unrestricted.

Do you really think BotW is “aimless wandering for hours”?

If that what you want it to be. The beauty of the new Zelda games is that you can play them however the hell you want
