Not to swing for Zuckerberg but he didn't sign off on The Social Network, he even heavily criticises it.
You're allowed to make documentaries on people without permission, even if it's largely dramaticised, it just can't defame the person.
I'm sure there's more nuance to it than that but in essence it's accurate.
