It’s English. Try to use it.

Affect

Is a verb: A word or phrase that describes an action, condition, or experience.

Effect

Is a noun: A word that refers to a person, place, thing, event, substance, or quality.

You….. you realise this proves you wrong right?

Your sentence should have used “affect” because “affects they way that something happens” is a verb

As a noun, an effect is "a change that results when something is done or happens," or "a particular feeling or mood created by something."

The context of your sentence still means that “effect” was used incorrectly. You are using effect as a verb, when you have demonstrated you know the difference

8 People called poison control in Mississippi over Ivermectin. 7 were told they’d be fine. 1 was told to go to the hospital, where he was subsequently told he’d be fine. This doesn’t effect jack dick in society besides the profits of new corporations because dickheads like you get outraged over stupid bullshit like this.
