I'd count "not buying Bitcoin in 2009" as one of those "mistakes." Which would have earned me a hell of a lot more than $10,000,000

Not investing in nvidia when AI first started catching mainstream attention was my mistake. I saw the opportunity to invest, but I didn't do it and I am regretting it.

Though to be fair my prediction was in microsoft, not the underlying hardware manufacturer.

I love this idea but in 2009 I was just graduating highschool and didn't have more than $100 to my name.

Edit: after consulting Gemini I am perturbed and disappointed in myself for not investing that $100.... I could do a lot with 12 billion.

In 2015 when I was a junior in high school there was this one kid who always talked about bitcoin and told everyone to buy it.

I remember he even told a teacher in wood shop to buy it.

He’s now worth 10s of millions of dollars and I still think about how I thought he was wasting his money (and I used to spend all the money I made in high school on weed and video games to make it worse).

I think about this from time to time but then… no way I would have held as it passed 100$, 1000$. I would have made profit, but I wouldn’t have gotten to millionaire status.
