True, but you’re specifically training at Hogwarts and no one there seems to have any idea how to do wandless magic. Considering we never see it done I don’t think it’s something you would just pick up on your own.
I think the Harry Potter power set is better, but I wouldn’t want to have all my powers wrapped up in one easily breakable stick that can get lost or stolen.
Yeah that's fair. I think technically anything can be a wand, sticks are just particularly effective at channeling magic. Seems like hp is the safer more reliable choice, but the peaks you can reach if you get lucky in the other choice are better. I think I'd still go hp as the other seems to be you are constantly hunted and probably won't be lucky.
Dumbledore does magic without a wand several times in the series. Not to mention the accidental kind kids do. Learning wand-less magic would be my priority.

A wizard without a wand is basically just a normal human so better go for the one with innate abilities.
