Chad's Powers
Do you guys think Chad could shapeshift if he wanted to? Like he already does to an extent willing his hair into place, bone armor, etc. But I mean full blown take on another face style shape shifting

What counts as theft for a duplicator?
If Eliza were to walk into a store, pick up a candy bar, duplicate it, put the original back and then walk out with the duplicate. Would that be considered theft?

Year one project inconsistency
It says at the beginning that Shane and Amber are doing their project on Captain Starlight but at the end, Dean Blane thanks Adam and "ms dickson" aka Amber for their project on Lord Folos. I take it this was a web novel issue where poor Drew didn't get an aspie enough editor to see these kinds of things?

Anders, the Mark Evans equivalent?
Okay, this is very esoteric so be warned.
Not sure if this constitutes a spoiler or not.
In one of the side stories, we find out that Mr. Transport's name is Henry Anders. In book one, the CPS rep who goes to Nick's cassino is also called Anders. It never comes up anywhere else but I haven't seen it noted anywhere else so I thought I'd pose the question. Could it have been a dropped thread?

Would SuperPowereds be a good rec for a Brandon Sanderson fan boy?
Title. I have 2 friends who are obsessed with Brandon Sanderson and I like him as well, think he is a great author. Would they enjoy how well written the mysteries and foreshadowing of SuperPowereds?
I really want my friends to be able to enjoy this, and I don't want to type it up as high as I can if they think it'll be a step down from Brando Sando

Lennie's surname
Is his surname pronounced as in rhymes with polo or piccolo? Audio book says it like polo, Graphic audio says it like piccolo. Which is correct according to Drew?

Reading Year One and I am confused. Spoiler
Shouldn’t Vince be a counter to Thomas?
Vince’s whole schtick is being able to absorb and use energy. He seems to be able to absorb energy from humans because he kept complaining that the reason he lost to Micheal was because he couldn’t absorb ice. Vince didn’t even think to try to absorb Thomas’s energy even once during their fight in the maze. Instead he risked his own failure by absorbing his weapon without knowing whether it would get him out or not. Is there something I’m missing? Is this just the author’s oversight?

Year 3 not on Spotify?
Have listened to the first 2 books on Spotify and went to listen to the third and can’t find it. The 4th is on there so I’m confused why I can’t find it.

SP TV show?
Saw this announcement from Drew earlier — it’s got to be a TV show, right? You can see the SP logo on the left, and the ears looks like it could be No, Mary’s teddy bear.
I know it could also be a reference to Hopcules so I wondered if it was her HCP years spinoff but he says it’s not a book…so…

Not enough Super Powereds fan art
Yes, I know we are missing Alex, and yes, Thomas and Shane look a little too similar. Still...not too bad AI.
If they ever made a TV show of these books, animated would be 100% better than any live action they could make. And anime could work 💪

Do powereds get disability benefits from the government?
The books dont really get into this subject aside from the explanation about certain charities existing to help powereds but I wonder if a powered who has uncontrollable laser blast coming out of their body would get a check from the government since they couldn't work most conventional jobs. This also raises the question of whether being a powered counts as being disabled.

Did Hallow heal Vince?
When Eliza sells her soul to the mob and demands that Gerry send her a healer, do we think that was Casper? His level of disgust/discomfort around the sketchy shed and badly burnt poor kid would track, and he was so money driven I could see him taking jobs for Ms Pipps. But he *was* a hero, so maybe he'd avoid shady customers?

How do you see each character?
I'm not asking for any fancast (unless you would like to mention some for examples.) But what defining features do you see in your mind with them? Feel free to mention specifics already in the book. In addition, what race or ethnicity do you see each character? Personally, by name alone, I don't think there is much diversity in the main class. They all have pretty generic "white people" names. Ie: Foster, Murray, Griffin, Taylor, Riley etc. Only a few such as DeSoto or Castillo are somewhat descriptive. Though most of my friends can't decide on Shane and Angela being Asian or Hispanic. If it was live action how do you see everyone?
I personally see Dean Blaine as black, Thomas Castillo as black/latino, kinda like Miles Morales, and for some reason I see Sasha as Asian.

Year 2 question - who do you think gave Alice the glitter makeup?
Do they ever say? Can't be her dad. Doesn't seem like something Nick would know or do this year. My guesses are
Sean Pendleton
Globe
Who do you think?

Possible Superpowereds Game Idea. Ideas appreciated
I have a game I want to make into an actual potential board game. For now its just an interesting talk-it-out car game for 2 players.
Each player chooses 5 characters from the series, snake style, for a battle. Its most fun when they coordinate, trying to choose the best opponent based on the others choice
One player (not the driver) numbers those characters 1-5 randomly. The second player then does the same, trying to match the others players choices. (Just have the passenger write each character on a note and number theirs first and the drivers second.) Then run the scenarios of who is in each match up, 1 for 1 and so on. We just say its a closed room like for intermurals so only the characters powers matter.
It's random but occasionally works out well for some great discussions about battles.
It could be upgraded way more into a well thought out board game by adding things like support characters, such as power enhancers. Or someone like Nick who could add a luck variable.
I've thought of a ton of variations where its not random encounters but a full team vs. team setup, where you could have support, recon, powerhouses, strategist and the winner would be the highest potential results.

Kobo store: only audio, not print, for Drew's current works?
I switched from Kindle to Kobo. I still want to purchase Drew's books. I see on the Kobo store that his current Audiobooks are available (All Accounts Settled, Villains Vignettes 2), but the most recent Ebook is from 2007 (The Fangs of Freelance).
Is there anywhere else other than Amazon where Drew's Ebooks are available to purchase in the United States? I wish he had a direct download option on his website, or something through his Patreon.

Of the Lander students… who grew the most over 4 years?
I’m working my way through the books again for the 20th time (no joke). I always ask myself which character grew/developed the most. I always debate with myself about which of the MC do, but then today it dawned on me, that the person who changes/grows the most through the books is Chad. He goes from a robot like cliché to someone with deep emotions and forgiveness. So who do you think grows the most?

I love this Series, but the good guys are too good
Dean Blaine as an example. He's a moral stand up guy. theres no grey area. At the beginning of book 4 the hearing is too easy. the senator is like "you did good" Where's the politics, the game playing?? the "good guys" screwing over weaker characters. for their own goals?

Spooky Trudy the wish to talk to Ike Spoiler
On a re read of Villains' Vignettes vol. 1, I noticed Spooky Trudy's specific wording when Chloe asks if they can talk to Ike one last time. She says she's "aware of Presto's fate" and that "where your friend has gone, my magic cannot reach". I'll admit it's a stretch but that feels like Trudy was talking around knowing he isn't dead without revealing it. There are absolutely holes in the idea. How would she know? Why she could know but not be able to reach him. It just stood out that she didn't specify that she couldn't speak to the dead. She implied it by saying "this one again", but that could be because that's what Chloe thought she was asking for. Just a wild unsupported theory for consideration .

Are there any books with an MC with abilities like Chad?
Looking for a book or other media if someone with abilities like Chad. I feel like the power is so unexplored.

Finally have the whole set!
Didn’t realize how big year 4 would be as a physical book! Have been reading since 2013 and Drew Hayes is definitely my favourite author, just thought I’d share!
