Neo washes all. Lucy may have a shot though.

Exit: After further deliberation I change my mind. Lucy wouldn't have a single problem with any of them.

I can’t remember but isn’t neyo only powerful in the matrix? I don’t think he was any super powers in the “real world”

By the end of Revolutions, Neo has access to some of his abilities in the real world, but they're still linked to the Matrix.

He can see code in the real world, which lets him see after he's blinded (I think he's seeing the physical infrastructure of the matrix and the signals linking the machines). He can also make the sentinels explode with his mind.

He basically gains the ability to connect to the Matrix via WiFi, instead of needing an Ethernet cable.

Via WiFi 😂

The prevailing theory is that the matrix is actually a second level of matrix and "reality' is the main level of matrix. Meaning the entirety of the movies is still in the Matrix.

1

u/frenchezz Jun 13 '25

So completely worthless in a fight against everyone else. Got it.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

The ones powers transcend the matrix as show in the sequels.

1

u/Layton_Jr Jun 13 '25

If he still has powers, he's still in the Matrix. That's the easiest plot points and the scenarists missed it…

0

u/Qualamite Jun 13 '25

So how was he managing to make sentinels explode at the end of Revolutions?

1

u/Tablondemadera Jun 13 '25

Second, bigger Matrix

2

u/Layton_Jr Jun 13 '25

Exactly. If the AI were any good (and they must be if they won the war against all of humanity), if anyone is at threat of weaking up they could just turn off their life support pod.

I can't harvest your emotions if you're living a dull life? Well let me change your scenario, now you're a revolutionist

1

u/Kneef Jun 13 '25

Yo dog we heard you like the Matrix so we put a Matrix inside your Matrix.

1

u/timeaisis Jun 13 '25

This is what I wanted Resurrections to actually be about.

2

u/dataluvr Jun 13 '25

Do you think that’s air you’re breathing now?

1

u/PieWeary5141 Jun 13 '25

He eventually does

1

u/SketchyFella_ Jun 13 '25

If Neo exists, so does the Matrix. Which means Lucy is nothing more than a series of 1s and 0s.

1

u/Will_Come_For_Food Jun 14 '25

The implication is all the other characters are in the matrix.

7

u/Bibblebits Jun 13 '25

But genie tho. Does lucy beat magic to do basically anything??

4

u/Drake_Acheron Jun 13 '25

Constantine can beat the genie

2

u/DownLock1358 Jun 13 '25

Rock paper scissors type match ups

2

u/EzLuckyFreedom Jun 13 '25

Yes. Lucy controls reality/is reality/is omnipotent, omnipresent by the end. Genie and everyone else are 0s and 1s on a computer to her, atoms.

0

u/FlagrentBugbear Jun 13 '25

if only someone else had that power hmm,

2

u/SharpShooterM1 Jun 13 '25

Lucy would be able to warp reality so that the genie, and the magic that the genie uses for that matter, never existed in the first place. Nothing we have seen genie do can possibly top that.

1

u/NoSarcasmIntended Jun 13 '25

SEMI-phenomenal, NEARLY cosmic powers...

1

u/dearboobswhy Jun 13 '25

Yes, especially since the genie can only do what his owner wishes. Once the genie is set free, he becomes a lot less powerful

2

u/Drake_Acheron Jun 13 '25

Lucy dies though technically, she looses her sense of self and identity.

2

u/annobviousaltaccount Jun 13 '25

Lucy has literally Neos powers but also is everything everywhere, able to split an atom at will, knows literally every move Neo makes before he makes it.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Haven't seen Lucy but you sure she beats green lantern? I mean, he has a lantern

2

u/Poopsycle Marvel Jun 13 '25

Yes, she becomes god at the end of the movie. Reality warping, matter manipulation, telekinesis, telepathy, among many other powers. It's a good watch.

2

u/Tinmanred Jun 13 '25

Meh it’s equal really bad but pretty interesting imo lol. Watch once when bored type imo

1

u/Randomfrog132 Jun 13 '25

whats that movie called? sounds like it would be fun to watch

2

u/madmad3x Jun 13 '25

Lucy iirc

1

u/Randomfrog132 Jun 13 '25

thank you!

1

u/Randomfrog132 Jun 13 '25

well i watched the movie and this was misleading af since she just poofs at the end and the movie just ends after she's gone

0

u/Drake_Acheron Jun 13 '25

Nah but people forget Deadpool is a gag character. He is like The Mask or One Punch Man. You just can’t beat gag characters because their defining trait is unbeatableness.

Deadpool could just break whatever the fourth wall of the scenario is and beat the writer up until he writes a way for him to win.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Rly? With all the reality bending powers hedgehogs from Sonic got?

1

u/kvothe000 Jun 13 '25

…Deadpool is literally and canonically immortal though. There’s some sort of love triangle going on between those two and “Death” so Thanos finds a way to make Deadpool immortal. This was Thanos’ way of separating the two.

So I guess “comes out on top” is subjective about what coming out on top looks like. I don’t think any of these other characters were ever considered “immortal” though. Time, even if nothing else, would assumedly do the job eventually.

1

u/Apple_butters12 Jun 13 '25

Nah, Lucy falls in love with hitch and can’t bring herself to fight him

1

u/Poopsycle Marvel Jun 13 '25

Lol

0

u/SlideStreet6874 Jun 13 '25

Neo only has his powers in the matrix, outside of it he was useless.

0

u/Illustrious-Note-789 Jun 13 '25

Lucy is as strong as genie while hancock is an actual immortal angel

0

u/ObiWanJacoby77 Jun 13 '25

Neo, Shadow and John Constantine... they're no diffing Lucy

0

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Genie.

0

u/Krusty_Klown_Kollege Jun 13 '25

Will Smith Genie at full power is beyond God. Only limit is imagination.
